For those of you unfamiliar with Nature's Best, it is a 100-page, full color quarterly magazine that offers a showcase presentation of the natural world recorded by the world's leading photographers, writers, and adventurers.
The NBCC entry was produced by Kent Mason.
Selection objectives were: have the highest possible image quality, include as many contest categories as possible (wildlife, landscapes, oceans, plant life, art in nature), and represent many different NBCC members.
The 20 images were created by nine Club members.
Entries were judged on technical quality, composition, originality, and artistic merit.
This win is a reflection of the entire club because it takes an accomplished group to produce such an entry.
Hearty congratulations to Kent, the nine photographers, and NBCC for winning Nature's Best first-ever Camera Club category!
