2009-2010 Season Begins

NBCC began its 45th season with the September 9 Competition Meeting. Most competitions will be held on a single night, but "Open" assignment competitions will be split across two nights (EIC on the first Wednesday, Program with Print Competition on the second Wednesday). The additional meetings each month will be "Program / Workshop" meetings as shown in the Schedule (PDF). There are minor changes in procedures and competition rules. Please see the club's Lens and Eye for descriptions of these changes.

2009-2010 Competition Rules

The NBCC competition rules for the 2009-2010 season are available on this web site here. The rules are in PDF format so you can print a copy (two pages). The competition rules are also published in the membership booklet which will be available at the first and subsequent meetings in September.

The Electronic Image Competition Submission Guidelines are unchanged for this year. EIC entries are still due (email received, not just sent) before 7:30pm on the Sunday preceding the Wednesday competition.

The NBCC Electronic Archive Policy document was revised for this year. All members who submit electronic images (e.g., Electronic Image Competition, Photo Essay, Critique Workshops) must read and agree to these policies. Participation is voluntary, and any issues should be brought to the attention of the club leadership.
