2019–2020 YEAR-END COMPETITION AWARDS
The year of Covid-19. All awards were presented remotely at our year-end event.
Accumulated Points Awards
Every month many of our members compete in assignments and open categories. These are the 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place winners after 9 months of rigorous competition. A minimum of 30 points is required for each award.
Accumulated points award winners from previous years can be found in the summer issues of the Lens and Eye.

Top Ten Prints of the Year
(Juried)
For our print competitors, we collect all the prints that have won awards during the program year. A three- judge jury of highly-qualified, non-competing club members selects the Top 10 Prints of the Year, designating one as Print of the Year.
In no particular order:
Top Ten Electronic Images of the Year
(Members Choice)
We encourage our membership to vote in the Members Choice for their 20 favorite images (This year there were 221 winning electronic images.) The ten images with the highest number of votes are the “Top Ten Electronic Image” winners, and the image with the highest number of votes is the “Electronic Image of the Year."
Star Awards
For those members who compete in the advanced level, regardless of category, points are collected across however many years they have competed. For every 100 points acquired, a “Star Award” is granted, and those members are honored at our annual year-end awards event.
The following members have reached newly achieved levels of advanced points and thus a new Star on their cap.
* Given posthumously to his grandson and NBCC member, Matthew Jablonski
